Belonging to the nobleman Michele Leondari, one of the 800 martyrs who died defending the city of Otranto from the Saracen invasion, Palazzo de Mori is an ancient residence located in the historic centre on the ramparts. The palace has been entirely renovated while maintaining its authentic character as an historic residence with a stone-paved patio, ashlar roofing, stone columns defining the terrace parapet and superior rooms with wooden beams.
Palazzo de Mori offers standard and top accommodation that share the same splendid emotion: overlooking the bay and the Otranto canal on one side, the ramparts and the castle on the other.
This is one of the city's most enchanting vantage points directly overlooking the bay.
